The process includes meter reading using hand held devices / Smart Phones/ Common meter reading instruments (CMRI’s), real-time generation of bills and its integration with backend systems i.e. to push the data on to the Client server through Cloud, bills printing & distribution , online MIS reports for real time information, audit checks to ensure correctness of meter readings by meter photo, geo-tagging of the meter spot, time stamping, biometric acknowledgement, SMS alert and updating of database. It is a customizable solution for Electricity, Gas and Water Utilities, which can be configured as per the requirement and specification of the customer.

Meter Data Analysis

Acquiring data through deployment of various MDAS is one thing but pushing the same to the intended applications vis-à-vis utilizing the same for various other purposes over & above improving billing & collection efficiency is another thing. It has been observed that even after the adoption of Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) , its potential is not fully realized by the Utilities. Thus, in order to suitably address these barriers; we have developed the system to do analysis of MRI/ Meter data in form of various detailed reports, that helps Utility in Energy Audits, Energy Accounting, Load Survey Analysis, Tamper Analysis, eliminating theft & pilferage of energy and plugging the leakage of revenue by way of identifying the continuous defaulters. Energy Meters log huge amount of periodical data related to supply, usage, events, etc. which can be analyzed to arrive at critical conclusions related to consumers and distribution network.
